Driver executes balky automobile - Peculiar Postings - MSNBC.com

This man has done what I longed to do to every piece of shit car I have ever owned. I don't know why he had to do jail time however, I mean it's his car after all. It's not like he shot somebody or somebody else's car. I think that jail was uncalled for.

I can't tell you how many times I have shed tears since the begining of this stupid war. I cried first when I first heard the rattle of the saber. Even though our government was threatening war I knew it was certain because our entire government is made up of stupid arrogant fucks. So realizing that I could do nothing, I cried.
I cried when I heard that my cousin was going. She's more like a sister than a cousin. She's National Guard. A medic. So far the 278th has lost 2 people. So far my cousin has been safe. For how long?
I cried when my friend, Sgt Sexy (nickname from his talents with the ladies) was shipped out. He's also National Guard. He's in an engineering division. So far so good, but for how long? A convoy that he was in was hit with an IED. Nobody was hurt.
I worry every day about both of them. I have a map of Iraq on my office wall and every time I hear of an incident I check it to see if it might be someone I know. I send out e-mails, "Are you alright, do you need anything, take care, love ya." Any response at all is like manna from heaven.

So we have to ask ourselves do we really give a shit if the Iraqees become Democratic? How many lives is that worth? How many Iraqi lives have already been spent?

From a politics and nation building point of view, I can see it. That stupid asshole George W was right when he thought he could bring democracy to the middle east, 'cause it is happening. I could give a flyin rat fuck though. Excuse the fuck out of me for not being on the yay America wagon. I couldn't care less about the middle east right now. If they want some democracy (which they don't, obviously) then they can do it, and we can build up our own nation. If we want to defeat terrorism, then lets make it impossible.

ok i'm done totally spent need cigarette. Thank you

The taste of victory

I have the job. I will be a graphic designer. Thanks to all of the people that offered encouragement. Thanks to all my friends in the biz.
The money will still be tight, but I'm not gonna let it bother me at all because the way that this all clicked together the money will too.

Eyewear Bridges the Divide Between Comfort and Fashion (washingtonpost.com)

owwww fuck that ow ow ow!

Mind numbing fear/anxiety

I am stressed. This thing that I am trying to do. It's nuts. The interview went well, I'm pleased about that. I am going to be so broke if I succeed. We're talking a $4 paycut here just so I can go and work at a job where creativity is good not bad. I will go from appx. 360 to maybe 200.
Monthly Exspenses:
Rent=300
Student Loan Assholes=74
Gas=100 (generous estimate)
Food=100 (that's Save-a-Lot shopping)
Electric=100
Water=50
And for a grand total: $624.00
Total expected income: $800.00
Whoops forgot about insurance which is another $100.
So does anyone else see the difficulty here? hmm anyone? $76 dollars extra is not much padding folks. This budget is pretty sparse already, I'm not even counting the phone which is 40 a month. Christ, I hope nothing breaks down.
Right now you might be asking yourself, why would a person do this to themselves. On purpose? I'm doing it because it will pay off in the future. I went to school for this. I'm an artist dammit. I want to work for the newspaper. It will give me an oppurtunity to publish my cartoons again. I will even, within a couple of years, come right back up to my current pay scale. Maybe, hopefully.
Sometimes you have to go for the long shot. You have to crawl out of your comfy rut and take a risk, something I have avoided like the plague till now.
Now that I have finished writing this, my anxiety has been dulled and the fear has become less mind numbing. The problems didn't go away, just the fear.
My Dad is so going to kill me when he gets a load of what I'm doing.

Connecticut House passes civil unions bill - Politics - MSNBC.com

I don't give a crap what they call, three cheers for Connecticut!
As long as the bill actually does protect gay couples in the same way that marriage protects straight men and women. Speaking of straight people, does this law protect those who could get married, but choose a civil union instead? I'm curious about that.

Lover who lived in closet charged with killing husband - Crime & Punishment - MSNBC.com

Lover who lived in closet charged with killing husband - Crime & Punishment - MSNBC.com

What in the hell is going on? I think that this is probably the wierdest headline today. I heard it on the news last night, but I just had to verify. Just goes to show you that yes, truth is almost always stranger than fiction.
Put yourself in that husband's shoes. Then try to guess that womans motive. Then before your migraine sets in, imagine how this all came about. What has to happen in order for this woman to think that she can just move this illegal alien into her house (without her hubby finding out) and store him in the closet? As far as the husband is concerned, how unfamiliar with your own house can you be to not notice somethin is amiss?
"Honey, did you drink all of my beer?"
